Hi to all Saugeen Shores cyclists. I'm the tour director for the London Centennial Wheelers cycling club and I'd like to inform you of our first annual Southwest Challenge charity cycling tour on Saturday September 8th, 2012 - www.southwestchallenge.ca With race season at a close and the Centurion shortly there after, the SWC provides the opportunity to get the distance and some climbing. There is our epic 170 km tour ( from London to Woodstock and back) as well as the acheivable 100 km tour, which includes the best of the 170 km ride. This is a fully supported ride plus there'll be a continental breakfast, lunch, rest stops, a post ride meal and prizes. We will be raising money for the Children's Health Foundation which serves sick and injured children through the Children's Hospital and Children's Research Institute of London, from Woodstock to Windsor to well past Owen Sound. As a result, racing enthusiasts, serious and semi serious road cyclists will be participating in this years SWC. Cyclists can raise money to earn free registration, a custom limited edition SWC race jersey and or bib shorts or can pay to register online. We'd love to have you join us and help us finish the summer with a bang by making a difference in a child's life. Talk to us via email at - lcwswc@gmail.com or through facebook at www.facebook.com/groups/215972348518065/ Thanks again.
